Brief Preview: ROB, a young pop star newly risen to fame, is tired of being shuttled to and from performances, press conferences, and publicity events by his manager, NORM. Norm is dissatisfied with Rob's lack of business etiquette and focus. In spite of being constantly surrounded by music industry executives and adoring fans, Rob finds himself lonely and seeking friends. While hiding from Norm, Rob meets MEG, a blind young lady visiting from China in search of her father. Rob is attracted to her innocence and takes it upon himself to help Meg.
Cast and Characters:
- Rob as himself
- Norm, Rob's manager
- Meg
- Uncle Jimmy, Rob's elderly uncle
The role of Norm was originally written for Mr. Alan Rickman, and the crew was in contact with Mr. Rickman about playing the role. Sadly, Mr. Rickman tragically passed away before production was ready to begin.
