Robert Fija (Higa) Kajiwara is an Indigenous Luchuan (Okinawan / Uchinaanchu) artist, musician, and peace activist based in Okinawa City. Using mixed media and vibrant colors, he often portrays scenic landscapes of Luchu (Okinawa) and other locations. Raised in Luchu (Okinawa), Hawaii, and Seattle Kajiwara's cross-cultural, multi-ethnic background influences his art and worldview. Kajiwara cites Claude Monet, Vincent Van Gogh, and Dietrich Varez as artistic influences.
